Description

The Revell Biber bridge-laying tank is a 1:72 scale model kit of the German armored vehicle. The Biber is based on the Leopard 1 chassis and has been used by the Bundeswehr since 1973 to quickly deploy temporary bridges over obstacles.

The vehicle features an extendable bridge that can span obstacles of approximately 20 meters. Thanks to its horizontal launching mechanism, the vehicle remains relatively low while placing the bridge, unlike earlier bridge-layers that used a scissor mechanism.

This Revell model kit contains seven plastic sprues and a decal sheet with four different Bundeswehr versions. The characteristic bridge construction makes this kit suitable for enthusiasts of modern German military vehicles and dioramas.
